Bali, as a tourist destination,
offers a variety of culinary choices, but it may pose some challenges for
Muslim travellers. You might be hesitant, considering the many places that
serve suckling pig or pork. You may also be concerned, thinking it will be
difficult to find halal food when staying in Denpasar.
From bustling street food stalls to well-established restaurants, halal options are plentiful, ensuring that your culinary experience in Denpasar is as enjoyable and diverse as its vibrant culture and stunning landscapes. In this article, I will give some recommendation for you who staying in Denpasar. I gave the address closest to Denpasar city center or the address of their oldest restaurant, but you can also try the restaurant closest to your staycation location.
Planning a holiday in Denpasar comes with the delightful assurance that finding halal food is both easy and convenient. Thanks to the growing number of Muslim immigrants and local vendors who have embraced halal cuisine, you can savor a wide variety of delicious and authentic dishes without any dietary concerns.
However, with the large number of Muslim immigrants in Bali, halal menus are now widely available. In recent years, Muslim immigrants have significantly contributed to the culinary landscape of Denpasar by opening food stalls and restaurants that have gained widespread popularity. This trend has not only provided more dining options for Muslim travelers but has also influenced local Balinese vendors. Faced with the high cost of pork, many Balinese entrepreneurs have opted to sell halal food, making their establishments more inclusive and appealing to Muslim patrons. This shift has led to a diverse and thriving halal food scene in Denpasar, reflecting the city's evolving cultural and culinary dynamics.

As long as it is still in Denpasar, Putu's blog can be a reference for domestic or foreign tourists who want to enjoy Indonesian specialities, especially Bali, to be enjoyed with a calm heart.
Pas banget lagi cari-cari tempat makan halal. Kadang kalau liburan malah lupa cari tempat makan yang pasti halal. Suka belok sembarangan, malah menghawatirkan. Btw Bakwan kukira olahan tepung sama jagung sejenis gorengan gitu. Ternyata ada model lain juga ya hehe.
ReplyDeleteUsually I will search for Pecel Lele, Naspad or warung madura 🤠boring but it is much saver than others
