East Denpasar, one of the areas in the capital city of Bali, offers a variety of stunning tourist destinations. Although it is often overlooked by tourists who are more interested in the beaches and crowds in other parts of Bali, East Denpasar has its own beauty and uniqueness.

article, I will invite you to go to interesting tourist destinations in East
Denpasar. So let's explore East Denpasar together!
If you look at its area, East
Denpasar sub-district is the smallest of the four sub-districts in Denpasar.
East Denpasar is divided into 7 villages and 4 sub-districts, namely Dangin
Puri Klod Village, Penatih Dangin Puri Village, Sumerta Kaja Village, Sumerta
Kauh Village, Kesiman Kertalangu Village, Sumerta Klod Village, Kesiman Petilan
Village, Dangin Puri Village, Kesiman Village, Penatih Village, and Sumerta
Village.
Even though East Denpasar is not a favorite destination for tourists, there are several interesting places you can visit while staying in East Denpasar. Here are some of the best tourist attractions in East Denpasar that must be visited.
1. Bali Art Center Cultural Park
Taman Budaya Art Center Bali, also known as Taman Werdhi Budaya, is the most significant arts and culture center in Bali. This place hosts various cultural and artistic events, including the Bali Arts Festival which is held every year.
You can enjoy
traditional Balinese dance performances, art exhibitions, and various other
cultural activities. Art Center Cultural Park also has a museum that displays
various Balinese works of art and artifacts.
2. Sindhu Beach
Sindhu Beach has white, pristine
sand. The waves are safe for swimming and playing with the small ones. Its
coastline is the same as Sanur Beach, and many fishermen's boats dock here. You
can sit on the beach while looking at the view and enjoying Sanur's typical
snack, namely lumpiang.
Don't forget to visit the turtle conservation center to see cute turtles in captivity. It's inspiring to see the community come together to protect these incredible creatures and their habitats. Every effort counts in ensuring the survival of these endangered species, and Sindhu Beach is setting a fantastic example for conservation efforts worldwide.
3. Bali Orchid Garden
Bali Orchid Garden is a paradise for flower lovers. This garden displays various types of beautiful and exotic orchids.
You can learn about various orchid species, how to care for them, and even buy orchid plants as souvenirs. The garden also provides guided tours to provide in-depth information about orchids and other tropical flora.
4. Kereneng Market and Asoka
Market
To experience local life, a visit to Pasar Kereneng and Pasar Asoka is a must. This traditional market offers a variety of local products ranging from vegetables, fruit, spices, to clothing and handicrafts.
Kreneng Market is also famous for its delicious and authentic local culinary delights. Exploring this market provides a unique experience of the culture and lifestyle of the local people.
5. Museum Sidik Jari
Museum Sidik Jari or The Fingerprint Museum is a unique art museum, founded by the famous Balinese painter, I Gusti Ngurah Gede Pemecutan.
This museum displays works of art
created using fingerprints as the main technique. You can see a variety of
stunning paintings and admire the artist's skill. Apart from that, this museum
also holds art exhibitions and workshops periodically.
6. Kertalangu Village
Kertalangu Village is located on
the main road in the By Pass Ngurah Rai Road, which also makes this village not
difficult to find. When entering the Kertalangu Cultural Village, you will be
greeted with natural green view of the rice fields and lush green
gardens.
In this village, there is a world
peace monument. This monument was created by independent countries that
strongly support peace in the world. In this monument there are also nine
religious symbols in the world.
7. Warung Nasi Tekor
Warung Nasi Tekor is located in
the Kertalangu Cultural Village. Here, you can enjoy authentic Balinese food
cooked by a pair of Balinese grandparents wearing traditional Balinese
clothing.
Enjoy classic Balinese food among
shady trees, an old Balinese-style house, and a garden with a chicken coop. For
those of you who like liquor, sometimes the husband-and-wife couple who own the
stall also provide ‘tuak’, a traditional Balinese liquor.
East Denpasar may not be as
popular as other areas in Bali, but it offers rich culture, natural beauty and
authentic experiences. From arts and culture centers, beautiful beaches, flower
gardens, to lively traditional markets, East Denpasar has everything to satisfy
a wide range of tourists' tastes. So, when you are visiting Bali, take the time
